Hazard PFA Player 2014/15 the only choice

Consistently Hazard has affected games with the respect he gets from defenses. He operates well in space and tight areas during the course of the season. His stats are not the best, 13 goals 8 assist in 33 games. He has been the most fouled player as well.

Hazard started the season slow. That could be attributed to the long summer world cup in Brazil. He was ready to pick up his game when Chelsea needed him most. In big games, tight games and games that Chelsea needed his presence felt. Operating wide gives him space to run at players and defenses. Has also been able to operate in the middle and float to the left. That makes his game so unpredictable and very difficult to defend against. He drifts from left to right and can make 90 degrees turns at full speed.

Hazard’s closest competitors for this award have not been as consistent as the man from Belgium. Costa and Kane have all been goal scoring machines but not as involved in the build up of games. They have operated most in the final 3rd meanwhile Hazard has been involved deep from the midfield. He has been the go to man in tight games and has been difference maker. Costa scored lots of tap in and had some discipline problems. Kane too has been more of a finisher in the final third of the field. Not involved in the build up of the game as much as Hazard has been.

Hazard deserves all the attention and the award. He has been as cool as the other side of the pillow in tense premiere league games. He creates miss matches with and without the ball. His play this year has drown comparison to CR7 and Messi. Real is said to have their eyes on him. For now Hazard is a Chelsea player and will be looking forward to improve his influence in Europe
